Rocs are large birds. They are just as intelligent as the average bird, but 70' tall with a 150' wingspan. It is a predatory bird that lives off other large animals. Rocs live anywhere that have large amounts of large wildlife and are near mountains. The roc nest will usually be situated in the top of a mountain. The roc may have a mate and several eggs. A roc egg is roughly seven feet long. Roc eggs are from time to time sought after by kings and the wealthy as a novelty food for large feasts and banquets.
Rocs will generally avoid adventurers. They are interested in larger prey. But, if endangered or nothing else is available, roc will attack adventurers.
